ALM - Mobility Assistance
The care and assistance sector is highly accident-prone, with the handling of people accounting for two-thirds of workplace accidents and most occupational diseases.
The ALM approach aims to prevent exposure to musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs) and falls related to patient lifting.
This approach enables the provision of quality care while preserving the autonomy of patients and beneficiaries, as well as the health and safety of caregivers and assistants.
